Download Lab: GNS3 | EVE-NG |
Prerequisites:

 Cisco IOSv        (vios-adventerprisek9-m.vmdk.SPA.156-2.T)
 Cisco IOSvL2    (vios_l2-adventerprisek9-m.03.2017.qcow2)
 GNS3 AAA Server Download

Note:
Since prerequisite for these labs are Cisco VIRL images, Frame Relay Cloud in original topology from the Cisco will be replaced by IOSvL2 switch and configured appropriately to imitate sub-interfaces for the point-to-point links. Access to the Cloud not available. All interfaces on the Cloud are configured as 802.1q Trunk, permitting VLAN 12,23,34.

Objective:

Inexperienced newly hired network engineer, discovers, that he can improve the company's network security. He knew that having not secured adjacency will be eventually compromised. He notifies manger that it is imperative to update security-related configuration on internal routers, the manager agrees and the next evening it was done, but he did not verify if everything went right and if all routers still have neighbor relationships.

Next day users complain that the Internet is down. You have been assigned to help resolve this issue.

Topology:

Instruction:

Open terminal to both Clients PCs and obtain an IP address via DHCP, by typing "ip dhcp" command. Sometimes you need to execute this command twice to obtain an IP address, to eliminate possible DHCP related problems.

Validation:

When you see that R1's routing table contains all the appropriate routes, OSPF, BGP and redistributed from EIGRP then this ticket will be closed:
