Note:
Since prerequisite for these labs are Cisco VIRL images, Frame Relay Cloud in original topology from the Cisco will be replaced by IOSvL2 switch and configured appropriately to imitate sub-interfaces for the point-to-point links. Access to the Cloud not available. All interfaces on the Cloud are configured as 802.1q Trunk, permitting VLAN 12,23,34.


Objective:

Last weekend, the security team was trying to install a firewall to protect the EIGRP network, but it was not successful, due to Company policy this implementation should not modify any existing configuration on R4.

The team decides to put the project on hold and email to the Network engineers that the connection to the new firewall will be temporarily down and traffic should not be routed through this link.

This morning user from VLAN 10 left a voicemail that she was not able to access the server on the Internet at 209.65.200.241.

She also emails result from ping:

Topology:


Instruction:

Open terminal to both Clients PCs and obtain an IP address via DHCP by typing "ip dhcp" command.

Verify connectivity to the Web server.

Use your networking skills to pinpoint the failed configurations.



Validation:

Connectivity should be restored to the outside network and the Client1 should be able to access the Web server.

Ping from either client's PCs will prove that troubleshooting effort was successful.
